Transporting Horses in NSW
PANSW would like to remind members of the requirements under the Local Land Services Act 2013 for the transport of horses. There are reports of increased checks on vehicles transporting horses.
Transported Stock Statements (TSS) for Horse Movement are now available as a FREE PDF you can download from the Local Land Services website. You can print this form as many times as you like and share blank copies with friends as it does not have a serial number.
This TSS for Horse Movement CAN NOT be used for transporting any other type of livestock as it does not meet National Livestock Identification Guidelines (NLIS).
If you are making a return trip on the same day you only need to complete one form.
Travelling Stock Statements are necessary for tracing horse movements for biosecurity purposes.
If you have purchased a TSS or TSS Booklet recently these are still eligible to use.
