The PAA is pleased to announce the new Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd)
has accepted our invitation to be the Patron of the PAA. The PAA letterheads and the website will now reflect this.

The PAA has advised that Gillian Meppem has been appointed as a new PAA director. Gillian has taken up this position as from Monday 8th July. The PAA Board is very excited about what Gillian can offer the Polocrosse family.

Gillian is a business manager with a strong background in marketing and communications. She currently works as a Senior Manager in the grains research industry based in Toowoomba, Qld. Gillian has previously served polocrosse as the Qld State Administrator. She has worked across a diverse platform, primarily in regional NSW and Qld., and she has a passion for community sport. Gillian holds a BA Communication and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Gillian is pleased to be appointed to the PAA Board and looks forward to serving the Australian polocrosse community, particularly in the areas of marketing, fundraising and governance.
