The Annual PAA AGM was conducted as a "Zoom" meeting on Saturday 18th April and was considered a great success.
While the virtual meeting was new to most participants, it worked extremely well, enabling increased participation and transparency, at almost no cost.
While the Minutes of the meeting are not yet available, major highlights were:
- The re- election of Sandra Weston. Sandra's hard work over the last few years has had a huge and positive impact on our sport, including the roll out of the Blue Bandage program and a revitalisation of the Tri State teams at National competitions.
- The AGM also saw the election to the Board of Charlie Brook from Qld. We thank both Sandra and Charlie for their willingness to commit to these demanding positions and look forward to working with them both in the future.
- PAA Life Memberships announced - Les and Robyn Fraser were also both awarded PAA Life Memberships for their significant contribution to Australian and International Polocrosse. Our sincere congratulations to Les and Robyn and thanks for what they have contributed to our sport.
- National Championships - Ballarat postponement has been extended to April 2021. Age divisions will remain as players eligibility in 2020. NSW teams to remain as selected.
