Some of the older members of the polocrosse community will be saddened to learn of the passing of Sandy Bull on 7th January 2021.
Sandy was an avid player in the late 50's and early 60's, and loved to tell his family all about his days playing polocrosse, the people he met, where he played etc. He was quite chuffed last February, when a photo was shared on the Australian Polocrosse Championships page (13 February) of his team from the 1961 Championships:
The team: Coolah A Grade
John Frater, played No. 3, on Phantom
Dick Ord, played No. 2,
Andrew Smith, played No.1,
Ross Bull, played No.3, on Courtship
Phil Powell, played No. 2,
Sandy Bull, played No. 1, on Dusty
