Please note - players do not need to attend the coaching to be eligible to picked, however it is recommended that they attend the selection session.
Nominate your junior or sub-junior players via this form by Monday 17th April.
EOI for Coaches for Albury Classic
We are also seeking Expressions of Interest for coaches for the junior and sub-junior teams at Albury.
If you would be interested in coaching a team please register your EOI via this form.
This season Mutual Memberships (formerly known as Sister Clubs) have moved onto the database. This means to apply to be a mutual member with a club from another state your home club must submit an application for you via the database. Once this is submitted the home state SEO, mutual state SEO, mutual club and PA NEO will all be asked to approve the membership. Once approved the mutual club will be able to nominate you for carnivals with their club.
Important things to remember regarding mutual memberships:
- If your home club and mutual club are attending the same carnival you must nominate with your home club
- Players may only be registered with one mutual club at a time
- State and club fees apply for mutual memberships (see table below for NSW state fees)
Before the NSW SEO can approve a mutual membership into NSW the player must pay the NSW state fee. These fees are as follows:
Membership Type |
Fee |
Senior |
95 |
Intermediate |
85 |
Junior |
20 |
Sub Junior |
35 |
Limited Jnr |
15 |
Limited Inter |
45 |
Limited Snr |
55 |
One Carnival |
15 |
Practice/Trial |
5 |
Blue Bandage |
0 |
This fee will be invoiced to the player when an application is submitted. Clubs are responsible for invoicing and collecting club fees from mutual members.
Read LessThis season the NSW Umpiring Committee and all Zone Chief Umpires are meeting monthly to discuss any important topics or matters arising across our state. Each month we will provide you with an update from this group in our newsletter. If you have any questions about the information in this update, please contact your Zone Chief Umpire or a member of the umpiring committee.
March Meeting Update
- Showing up on time to umpire – it was noted last season that many umpires were not showing up on time to their allocated job. If this trend continues the NSW Umpiring Committee will be forced to explore solutions to this issue including disciplinary action and/or a user pays system for dedicated umpires.
- Disrespect towards umpires will not be tolerated – the Umpiring Committee will be enforcing one-week suspension against those who are reported for showing disrespect to umpires.
- Reporting incidents that occur whilst you are umpiring is very important – to make a report please speak to your Zone Chief Umpire. If we don’t know, we can’t do anything about it.
- No number, no play – all players need to have the appropriate number fixed to their shirt. If a player does not have this they will not be allowed to play, and play will commence or continue without them.
- Policing and penalising line outs – umpires are being encouraged to penalise players who do not line up appropriately. Line outs should be square and even as per the rule book.
Thank you to all the members who have completed their waiver. Please remember that there is now a no waiver, no play rule in place. If you have not signed the waiver your status in the database will be set to pending and you will be unable to be nominated for any carnivals.

Our NSW Junior Mixed team and NSW Masters team both travelled to New Zealand in March to compete.
Our Junior side came out victorious with two from two wins. Meanwhile our Masters came in runners up after a close final.
Congratulations to both these teams for their efforts.
The Board would also like to make special mention of the fundraising efforts of Chrissy Honeyman. Chrissy organised a wonderful auction that raised valuable funds to help both these teams make the trip across the ditch. The auction included service fees, beautiful original art works chopping board, dressed lamb, quality lucerne hay, fire pits and gift vouchers and much much more. Thank you Chrissy for your efforts - it is hugely appreciated by all!
