At the PANSW AGM, the council voted unanimously to adopt the updated PANSW Constitution.
This means the updated Constitution is now the official constitution of the Polocrosse Association of New South Wales.
The Board will now begin work on updating the PANSW Operating Procedures Manual and related policies to reflect the updated constitution.
You can view the new constitution here - www.nswpolocrosse.com.au/pansw-constitution
At the PANSW Half Yearly Meeting a discussion was held regarding multi horse carnivals.
It was agreed by the council that two multi horse carnivals would be allocated by each Zone for the season.
Additional multi horse carnivals could be requested via the Zone to the PANSW Board if extenuating circumstances applied.
Clubs and Zones are asked to remember this when allocating their multi horse carnivals and applying for additional multi horse carnivals.
PANSW Zone Championships – WE NEED A HOST
We are still on the hunt for a host for the PANSW Zone Championships.
This event is scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th August.
If your club OR zone is interested in hosting the Zones in 2024, please reach out to the SEO on seo@nswpolocrosse.com.au
PANSW Cattle Fundraising Program
Don’t forget we are looking for people to take on cattle as part of the PANSW Cattle Fundraising Program.
Take one or take ten – it is entirely up to you! Cattle are purchased by PANSW, all you need to do is provide a home for them until they are ready for sale. All proceeds go towards covering PANSW operating costs, which helps keep costs down for our members.
Interested in taking on some cattle? Contact the SEO or Angus Stuart.
Umpires for Chinchilla Nationals
The Nationals are on again this year at Chinchilla and there is a request that nonplaying umpires to help out.
If you are going to the Nationals and are able to assist, please forward your name to either Simon Brennan or your zone chief umpire.
If we NSW could manage to supply six nonplaying umpires, we would be in good stead.
