The PA NSW Half Yearly Meeting will be held on Sunday 25th October via Zoom.
A 2021 Calendar meeting will be held prior to the meeting, commencing at 10.00am. Participants for the Calendar meeting will be limited to 2 representatives from each Zone. Observers are welcome.
The Half Yearly Meeting will then commence at 1 pm.
Invitation details and draft Agenda will be distributed and sent to Zone Secretaries closer to the date.
As this will be the first major PA NSW meeting held via Zoom, the Board would appreciate early advice of any issues you would like to raise. In particular, the early receipt of any papers would be welcome so they can be circulated to delegates prior to the meeting.
Grateful if any agenda items, Notice of Motions, and the names of each Zone's Delegates could be sent to the SEO.
The Australian Sports Foundation are inviting applications from community sports clubs who need help to support youth sport. Grants will be provided to programs that help acquire sporting equipment, kits and uniforms for young Australians aged under 20. Applications are now open and close on 30th September 2020.
Please NOTE: Bennett Polocrosse have agreed to donate a proportion of all equipment sales from this Grant to NSW Polocrosse. Bennett Polocrosse can supply a wide range of polocrosse and equestrian equipment including "Active Kids Coaching Kits", racquets, balls, helmets etc. This sponsorhip will go toward a range of NSW polocrosse activities including potential support for refund or roll over credits for the 2020 NSW player fees. So get behind this generous offer !
Contact Graham Bennett through his website: www.polocrosse.biz and support Australian made polocrosse equipment and NSW polocrosse.
The PA NSW caps that were ordered for the 2020 Nationals at Ballarat have been offered for sale to the players selected to play at Ballarat. After player/coaches/managers orders are filled remaining caps will be offered to NSW members for $25 plus postage.
The Board have decided to retain ALL of the playing shirts ordered for Ballarat Nationals and "rebrand" them for the 2022 Nationals. This will result in considerable savings to the State.
Please note, while credit card details were taken for any additional shirts and caps ordered by players, these were NOT charged out given the uncertainty with the Nationals going ahead. Any players that did place orders, please check your credit card statements to ensure this is the case. If players have incurred a fee please contact the NSW Book Keeper, Belinda Cosgrove. A few players did elect to pay via direct debit, these funds will be refunded.
South Africa have hosted high level junior, intermediate and open tournaments over the last few years.
Anyone who has travelled to South Africa can vouch for the tremendous hospitality as well as high level of competition offered.
South Africa are now seeking expressions of interest for a Masters and Veterans Tournament in Kwa-Zulu, Natal South Africa in June / July 2021.
What a great way to get over the COVID shutdowns in 2020. While it will be considered a 'private' tour, NSW players are encouraged to consider getting together a combination from your Zone or mates from across the State.
Please see the attached Invitation and contact SA for more details if you are interested or are considering putting a team together.
